At Austin Air, we believe there’s no greater gift than the gift of health – especially for the mothers and mother-figures who nurture, protect, and sustain us across a lifetime. This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the powerful role moms play in creating safe, healthy environments for their families – and how our purifiers support them every step of the way.

This year, we’re honoring Mother’s Day by sharing some of our favorite stories from real Austin Air families – stories of love, resilience, and the deep care that inspires parents to choose clean air as a foundation for their homes. From new moms preparing nurseries to grandmothers protecting generations under one roof, these voices remind us why we do what we do – and who we do it for.

A Mother’s Love, A Family’s Commitment

For Leah and her family, the journey toward cleaner air started before their children were even born. “What’s the first thing parents-to-be buy for their sweet bundle of joy when they find out they are expecting?” Leah asks. “A blanket, booties, books, bibs, or binkies? We bought an Austin Air Bedroom Unit.”

Leah and her husband knew they wanted to give their growing family the healthiest start possible – especially in their 80-year-old home. With Leah managing chronic conditions like mitochondrial disease and chronic fatigue syndrome, clean air wasn’t a luxury. It is a necessity.

“Today, Mom’s chronic migraines have been healed and sleep has greatly improved,” Leah shares. “Big Brother is the picture of a healthy 2-year-old. Little Sister has a healthy foundation ready for her arrival, including her Austin Air Bedroom Unit.”

We are honored to be part of Leah’s family story – and proud that her little one’s first nursery essential was an Austin Air purifier.

Three Generations of Trust

Leah and her family aren’t the only ones making Austin Air a multi-generational tradition. For Noelle, it all began two decades ago when her mother-in-law lent them an Austin Air unit after their newborn son was diagnosed with environmental allergies.

“That machine is still running in our living room, all these years later,” Noelle says. “Each baby would get an Austin Air machine in the nursery and then their bedrooms… Those machines are still running, but now it’s time to send some new machines to college!”

Noelle’s family now runs six Austin Air units daily – creating a healthy home environment that not only alleviates allergies but brings comfort, peace of mind, and even a gentle white noise for restful sleep. It’s a testament to the longevity of our products and the deep trust families place in us.

Designed for the Ones We Love

What makes stories like Leah’s and Noelle’s even more meaningful is that Austin Air was created with love from the very beginning. Our founder, Richard Taylor, developed the first Austin Air purifier out of necessity – for a loved one, who suffered from respiratory issues that weren’t improving with medication alone. Determined to improve her quality of life, he engineered a medical-grade air cleaner powerful enough to help her breathe easier at home.

Decades later, that same commitment lives on in every unit we make. Families across generations continue to choose Austin Air because they know our products are made with the same care, purpose, and protective instinct that started it all.

This Mother’s Day, Give a Gift That Lasts

Clean air is a gift that supports sleep, immunity, cognitive function, and emotional well-being – all things that moms, babies, elders, and everyone in between deserve. With medical-grade HEPA and activated carbon filtration, Austin Air purifiers are built to last – and built to protect.

Whether you’re shopping for a new mom setting up a nursery, a grandmother managing chronic respiratory issues, or anyone in between, an Austin Air purifier is a meaningful, lasting gift that shows you care about their well-being every single day.

Happy Mother’s Day, from all of us at Austin Air.

Because a mother’s love is pure – and the air she breathes should be too.
